Unhealthy expressions of anger is considered to be the primary contributor to many societal dysfunctions yet it continues to plague individuals and communities in various ways. Anger takes on many different forms ranging from domestic violence to road rage among various others. This workshop is designed to teach healthier expressions of anger and help to eliminate destructive and violent behaviors to self and others. Participants will learn how to recognize their own anger in situations and learn tools to effectively cope with challenging situations. This experiential workshop offers insightful anger management exercises that will help individuals develop tools and skills to manage anger their own anger in daily life as well as strategies when dealing with people who are expressing their anger in destructive ways. This is a 6 week program that is offered on Monday evenings.
This spring session workshop will be held on Monday evenings from 7pm to 8:30pm in six consecutive weeks beginning on May 20 to July 1/13.
